High Level Summary of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP-11)
Grant Thornton have released a report summarising the commercial opportunities the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP-11) will provide. The report uses economic modelling to analyse the opportunities the trade deal would present for Australian businesses. The analysis found that once implemented, the agreement would provide greater access to goods than Australia’s existing free trade agreements. Australia signed the deal in March and it is now being reviewed by Joint Standing Committee on Treaties (JSCOT) before being put before both houses of Parliament.
